Really, really want this. Rare colour combo, too. And cheap. I just may have to move mountains to make this happen...

I thought you wanted a 4-eye Bird?
He does.
i never liked the sandalwood interior, but it looks nice on that.car.
That was the Sport's original color combo. Same stuff except the Sport had tan leather seats. I'd love to find a complete, great condition tan interior to swap into my old Bird.
I do want a 4-eye, but , $1200! Even if I bought it for a parts car for a potential future four-eye. I paid $1000 for my last parts TC, and if wasn't nearly as nice as this one looks
*EDIT* Now that I'm not typing on an iPhone I would like to clarify: If I did buy this, I would not use it as a parts car if it was in good condition. I'm skeptical that it's as good as it looks in the ad. If it needs brake lines there's a good chance of underbody rust, and if it needs fuel lines, it probably needs a tank and/or sender, since the lines are plastic. Also, the ad says it's got 300,000km, which is nearly 190,000 miles. Still, even if it's not in good shape, $1200 for a TC hood, suspension/rear end, drivetrain, interior, nose, etc is a relative bargain nowadays. These things do not come up for sale very often anymore
That color is rare to find but in my opinion is one of the better combo's for the TC's. I think the paint contrasts nicely with the red stripe within the side molding. Tint the windows dark and that thing is ready to roll!
Ive always liked the tan/brown interiors, I think cause its so rare, and that one looks very clean inside.
Temptation is becoming too strong. Wrote the guy today, still no reply though
Your still here for a reason. find the guy, swap a 4 eyed front end on and call it a day. oh, and leave the stock bushings this time ;).
If that car was within the radius of a tank of gas it would be in my driveway!
I'm trying, but the guy's not writing back. It's a long weekend here in Canada so he might be gone away
-my four eye is still available. I got it out this weekend and took her for a spin. miss drivin it, but my daily commute is now waaaaaaaay to long for it. well, for the mpg part of it anyway. just hate seeing it sit when my i dont even get the '87 out.......
Well, it's all moot now, the ad's been taken down so I can only assume the car has been sold
