I'm looking for ideas here. I'm installing a 'squirt and LS coils on my '86 TC soon, but I haven't figured out a good place for the coils yet. I have materials to fab up a bracket to hold them, but as for their physical placement in the engine compartment, I don't know what I want to do yet. I'm not touching any of this until after Carlisle so I'm in no real rush here.
Here's the engine compartment:

And here's the setup that's going in:

Anyone have any good ideas for placement that wouldn't be a PITA to implement? :dunno:
What i do is spin the upper then weld tabs to the valve cover and mount the coils there. Or you can make brackets that attach to the valve cover bolts and mount 2 in front of the throttle body and the other 2 behind it. That should work out OK
Eventually that is what I am going to do. I already have a rotated upper, but I can't put it on until I get a new intercooler setup. Making a bracket that mounts using the VC bolts is a possibility if I can move the intercooler pipe over a little bit.
Thanks
