Just picked this up with some other parts from a Canadian Bird. Its a KM Speedo, but the non-metric part of the speedo goes to 100MPH! Never saw or realized this, as i have seen few Canadian cars.

What's that green LED display for? My roommates 2007 Pontiac G6 has one set of numbers on it (American/Metric is switched back and forth from the radio) and they go to 140, you'd think Canada uses the same speedo, right? Nope, the Canada one goes up to 240!
We ROCK here in Canada! (If nothing else the speedo makes it seem like you're going faster....LOL) :canada:
The Canadian '85-88 buttstuffogue speedos go to 120MPH (200 km/hr). Also, if you have a digital dash it will go up to 199 km/hr, but only 85 MPH (if you are driving at over 85 MPH, just push your E/M button and the speedo will continue climbing to 199 km/hr). You can modify the speedometer with a simple jumper wire to show up to 199 MPH...
The good ole W2 mod. That was one of the first things I did to my white car, followed by TC sway bars, and shocks/struts set to Firm.
Then I added an extra oil drain "hole" in the pan, AND managed to set it on fire without involving the use of inferior alternator harness connectors OR a bad ignition switch. ...I'm good...NOT.
was the green display a clock?
Haha....i remember going WOT in my 87 tbird LX with the stupid 85mph flashing at me....but switching to see the kph and laughing....aww memories

I don't know why it looks green in the picture, it should be red. It's the "Fasten Seatbelt" light.
it was modded in some way by the previous owner to do something, i can't recall......
i just spoke to him, and it was a radio shack tach that he adapted to fit in the seat belt light slot. He does electronics work for a living.
Dang it, he stole my idea ;). I have an old Sunpro bar-graph tach that I am doing the exact same thing to on my 80 tbird.
