Title: tail lights
Post by: T-BUCKET on April 13, 2014, 11:34:00 PM
anyone know how to get dust out of the tail light assembly? I mean theirs ALOT of dust in there. looks like my car spent most of its life on a dirt road. I took the assembly off but don't see anyway to clean that area. if standing behind the car it looks really bad inside the assembly.

Nope, you'll never get it clean that way. Pull them off the car, remove the clips, and open the ed things and take them apart.  Wash with water and a mild detergent, for an even better finish, take some rubbing compound to the red lens. dry everything thoroughly, and then using a hair dryer to warm the adhesive, put it all back together and put the clips back on.
