Title: Anyone running a walbro 255 HP? Mine got noisy..real noisy

Anyone else got one of these pumps? Mine is 8 months old and sounds like a root blower now. Take a listen lmk what you think..

Well that's LOUD :hick:. I think you may want to see if you can get a replacement/refund for the pump.

I've had a Walbro 155lph pump in my Thunderbird for seven years. It's only slightly louder than a stock pump. I have to get down near the tank to even hear it run.

Yea I'm running a walbro 255 HP too and its not that loud either
Mine has only been installed for about 6 months on my DD but so far so good

Something happened.  Pump, line, or something with the surge box.....

Change it out. That pump is shot.  Are you positive it is not a KNOCK OFF.

Yea they tend to get loud before they stop working

Ive had 255 and 190 pumps.  Never loud at all.

How's the fuel filter?

I got a 155lb pump I believe. it was labled Bosch but had walbro on the pump picked it up from orileys.
