Title: big problems need help

ok i bought 5 lug axle shafts from ebay so i can convert my 4 lug to 5 when i bouth them it said mustang 79 to 93 7.5 or 8.8 rear end when  im putting them in the shafts are to short so whats my resoulotion can i drill 5 holes in my stock shafts to convert them to 5 lugs

Is this in a 7.5 or 8.8TC rear end??

Well, lets see....you bought Fox Mustang axles for your Tbird?  Yup, they're gonna be too short.....

All you have to do is swap to a Turbo Coupe or Mustang housing and they will be fine....

If you read this thread thourghly, it will explain everything and more about the Bird rears.

you can use s95 94-98 mustang axles  and they bolt right in no problem then just have your drums redrilled
