It should. You'll need to do some re-wiring and swap out most of the sending units though.

Why do you want to swap it out? The digital dash is pretty cool. My Thunderbird has one and I like it.

I'm fairly sure some senders are different(99% on fuel) and the plug on rear likely as well...

While I can sympathize over the Star Wars cluster, probably a bigger PITA to swap than it's worth... You really need to refer to the '87 EVTM for differences...

Oil and temp switches need swapped to sending units. Fuel gauge will read opposite without some voodoo…I think jcassity here did some investigating on that.

I want to gut the stock buttstuffog cluster eventually. installing a trip computer gives you 90% of the functionality of the full digital cluster.

Eric, i was looking to swap a v8 cluster for a v8 cluster, digital to buttstuffog swap. The link is for a TC swap is it the same?

Yes, the tach will need nothing also. Wiring should be the same as in that document.

All except for a couple extra lights on the TC cluster, boost gauge and tach calibration... Only the half motor tach would have any bearing on the swap...

well, I was hoping the DR would send me a normal sendor to piddle with,, yes you are right, this task needs completed.
I would like to know if it can be flipped to read the other way regardless of the total resistance differences
