Title: 1984 351W Ho Powered Thunderbird
Post by: pedal2themedal on June 28, 2005, 01:51:56 AM
I have a 1984 Thunderbird that i have swapped in a 351w ho in it. It has 410 gears and will beat a any mustang gt out there(stock of course). Sounds good, and runs good. Any reasonable offer will be entertained. Thanks, Robert.

I cant get the upload link to work, so go to altavista and do an image search for a "1984 Ford Thunderbird" There will be a bugundy or maroon thunderbird. It looks basically like that only minus the wheels and the hideouts.

Is is located in the northeast dorner of Kansas

When i forst got the car, the body was perfect, not a sratch or dent on it. Then i sold it, and the guy i sold it to backed the back corner of it into a trailer. Basically the only thing that that did to it was bust the taillight out, but there is a little body damage. Ive had the car on and off for two years. It had been repainted a dark maroon before i got it. It has a few scratches in it now, but excepy for that little park by the tail light, it is great. As for rust, there are a few little spots on the bottom if the car, right behind the drivers door, but its all surface and would sand out easily. The car runs perfect, drives good, the interior is in ok condition for its age. I always armorall it and keep it cleaned up as well. Thanks, Robert

This is basically what my car looks like minus the wheels(mine are the cast aluminum ones), and the hideouts. It looks great from a distance(don't they all, lol), but the paint job does need redone to look really good. The paint color is nearly the same. Thanks, Robert

The paint still has a good shine though, it looks like it was professionally done.

No, it's a 2WD.  I'm located in MO, though.  Plus I have no way of getting it to you.  :(  It needs a tranny (will drive, but slips from a dead stop) and it'll need a master cylinder to pass inspection.  I'm currently trying to find a tranny, and I would have no problem buying the master cylinder for it.  If I can find the tranny, I'll get it put in if possible, but I don't have much time with a baby due any day.  :(  I haven't had any luck finding one anyway.  I doubt your interested, which is why I laughed when I asked, but if you are, please let me know.  I'd definitely trade for a T-Bird.  I am a big T-Bird fan!  :D

Rick

Oh, I'm in Jonesburg, MO.  It's about an hour east of Columbia and an hour west of St. Louis (right in the middle of the two).

That sux, i hate 2 wheel drive trucks. I mean, what is the purpose of having a 2 wheel drive truck? Thanks anyways, Robert

No problem.  Like I said, I'd love to have the car, and the offer was a joke to begin with.  The purpose of me getting this truck was originally to haul and tow stuff.  It's set up with a Reese-style hitch on the back, has a truck toolbox chained to the bed (it's also a flatbed dually), and has the 460/4bbl with a C6.  It's a mean running truck, but I need a car more than I need this truck right now.  Anyway, good luck with the sale.  :)

Rick
