I have a good looking set of cloth seats front and rear, plus the door panels and rear sails. I never actually got to sit on them to see how nice they are but they are in great shape with no rips or tears. The car they came from only has 89xxx miles on the odometer so I know they couldn't have been used that much. They are blue in color.
Would like to get $400 for them but go ahead and shoot me an offer.
Also have a the rear deck in black that would look nice also in great shape. Wanting $20 for it.
Im trying to get some pictures that I have up but I should be able to get good ones up tomorrow if not monday.
this is what i could find ill take more tomorrow.
...
...
don't be afraid to shoot me an offer.
Bump
i am a pro at removing the coverings, but i would never want to put someone else through that. i actually enjoyed it.
in your case your selling so there wont be any joy in it but.... what would you need if you used side cutters and removed the covers and shipped the covers in a box?
there are a couple long rods that come out of the back seat but you can leave all the others in place.
50racer was kind enough to allow a full back seat to be preserved so thats what i did.
im interested in the front covers,, on these type of seats, they are a tad on the pain in the ass side... just asking.
its a lot of labor to do what im asking... we dont have a set of front seat covering and it concerns me not having this for my son.
i wont be upset if it becomes evident you had to do what you had to do to get them removed,, the idea is to use side cutters to get the hog rings off.
actually they come off much cleaner if you put needle nose in the ring then rotate it 180deg,, the ring is just a straight wire the factory crimps around the cloth channel holding the wire.
either way it will take you 1hour for each seat taking your time.
The hardest part is getting the headrest to come out. A simple procedure, but difficult to execute.
wopsie,, yup,,
gotta raise the headrest all the way up,, but push it down again about 1/2'',,, (haha thats the secret)
gotta slide a piece of thin stiff sheet metal down the front and then push real hard down to overcome a flat leaf spring thingy.
then yank up like a GO RILLLA and it pops out
No I'm not splitting them apart. if you shoot me an offer you can buy everything then you can do it, the front seats do come with power motors of the drivers side and passenger side. Just make me an offer the worst i can say is no.
ok, thats a shame , to be honest if i were close enough i would give them a good home.
Ya sorry, Im just not wanting to part the seats out. Everything is in good shape, you can see all the seats. The door panels are in good shape along with the rear sail panels. and that package shelf is also in good shape.
$300 for the entire cloth interior. front and rear seats, door panels, rear sails, and package shelf.
wow! what a bargan, you must have a big heart!
let me know and at least i could by the door panels.. sure which i had the front seat covers but i get it.
bump
.....still have them.....bump....
I realise I haven't been on in awhile but I still have the seats make an offer if you'd like like I've said before the worst ill say is no.
there blue cloth seats. Both front driver and passenger seat have the power track rear seat is in excellent shape. Both door panels and rear sail panels. Hope they go to a good home.
id pay 300$ for the covers on both front seats,,LOL
I'll buy a power part of the bottom of passenger side, If you sell the covers to Scott. Work with us!!
Sorry guys just come to my self to pull them apart there in to good of shape.
understood....
one last piece of logic.. and you my see my point.
the setting is in the near future.................
when time marches on and time has taken its toll on Joe's cloth interior,, the hope to find someone to reupholster them will not be an option because nothing aftermarket will match the original.
what Joe will find is that upon removing the old beat up ripped interior coverings, he finds perfectly good foam and metal frame work which is acceptable to them.
the foam may need some padding in questionable "not so comfortable areas but being a guy who can do anything,, he will pad things as required ready for new covers.
now he stands there with naked seats and nothing to cover them with.
fast backward to now...
you are the only guy on planet earth who has these covers that you diligently took off, washed them in cold water with a tad of detergent, put them away in a tote, then found a wanted add 5 years from now.
your call,, I see your point.
but you do have a buyer for the tracks with motors...
and you have a buyer for the covers
I will be here now or two years from now still wanting these front seat covers because I have a son with this interior color, would make a magical Christmas present to "him" 10 or 20 years from now.
6 hrs one way, sorry. I wish I could get them, they look really nice.
Alright guys ill strip the seats down. Let me know what you need and we can go from there.
I would take the passenger side bottom motor frame and electronics, The seat unbolts off of it. It's heavy.
Alright pm sent
I would like to have these seats for my 88 cougar take $250 for it all?
Sorry i had know idea it was that far away lol
