If the seller is truthful, seems like a fun easy project! No reserve, currently at $800....
Aw man it's in Georgia. That's way too far to drive it home in reverse :hick:.
That would be a great score for someone local to it. Oh and it would need a 4ALD not an AOD.
bring a t-5 down with you and drive it home.
I've got a great A4LD that'll bolt right in.
That's a steal.
What a perfect car to do a NICE driver with. Those are the kinds of cars I look for right there.
Yeah as soon as I read that part I said to myself "If I were in that situation and 5-10 miles from home I'd back that bitch the hell home. Hellllllll YEAH!" haha
And somehow I totally forgot they had A4LDs.
id seriously bring a t-5 down with me. swap it in, don't even bother with the clutch cable or pedals.
Looks nice. And, I love the two-toned leather interior.
Just curious, though, about the quote:
If it did go to 15lbs boos, would that (and the required Gillis valve) explain the transmission issues?
Possibly. I know a local guy who had an auto 87 Turbo Coupe with the boost turned up. It ate 2 4ALDs in a year.
That's what I figured. Take the side streets and you'll be fine :hick:.
