I got a free Eibach sportline kit for a Mustang and threw it on my Sport, and I love the way the front sits but the rear sags too much...

I was thinking I'd try and just run a coil booster or something to keep it cheap.

Did you use isolators ?

I used 2 in the rear and 1 up front and its close I should have used 2 out back and none up front

I used one in front and one in back, I think I'm going to try and put another in the rear and see if I like it better, but it is really close. Just an extra half inch to an inch in the rear and it would be perfect.

I dunno man, but I've always had a weakness for the black ten holes with the chrome centers...

But maybe thats because I had a Crown Vic with the black steelies and chrome caps

Well they looked like poo when the car was a 4x4 but there growing on me now

But I also went from cobra R's to bigs and littles to ten holes lol

I need to have an honest answer.....when the car sits THAT low, how is the ride? Mine is two inches lower and rides like it always has with the stock springs, but takes corners better. I have 1999 SN-95 springs on mine....and I can still take a speed bump or train track without fear. I am curious to know the ride feel  on your cars that really sit low.

This is before I put the rest of it together, but the ride height is the same.....

Honestly? It kinda rides like poo.... Haha

Its rather bouncy and speed bumps are a challenge, but that's the price to pay...

I have progressive springs and it rides good with the stock prc's

I will upgrade to kyb's cc plates and bump steer later

It seems like the Fox Mustang low springs tend to ride a little harsher in the Birds/Cats. If you want some ed good low springs, I think it's either Mach 1 or Bullitt springs from the '04 and older cars. Thunderchicken here had one set or the other on his '88 car and it was pretty sweet.

I'm like Vinnie, I've got late late 90's springs under mine too, but mine isn't quite as low. I also used ALL the isolators from Energy Susension, to that probably put .5 to one full inch of height back in there, though.
I'd take 'em out, but I've had my fill of suspension work till warmer weather.

I like the springs I have. It allows the car to be very comfortable and functional, while still sitting a couple of inches lower. I can't have a harsh ride for the sake of lowering. Liek I said, I gotta be able to take a speed bump or dips in the road without having to come to a near stop. That would seem to get very old, really quick.

Yeah, the roads around here are hard on a low car. I had a Porsche 944 turbo for a few years when I was younger, and it was a pain a lot of the time. I had to angle across any little speed bump. I couldn't even get a floor jack under it to lift it.





Now that I'm old and soft I like a little ride height and suspension travel.

That said, if the back was brought up a bit on the OP's car it would look pretty good!

Im trying to get a bigger isolator in the rear to bring it up about 3/4" and then I'll love it.

Its pretty hard to have a low car here too, but I love the lines on these cars and the way they look slammed.

Those 944's are pretty nice rides...friend of mine has a couple of 'em...neither are the Turbo, but the second one he got is an S model...my Sport will easily take him off the line (up to about 80 mph) but when it comes to a corner, there's no contest. Those things simply turn and go on with no drama. And my Thunderbird has some goodies, and has been on a diet, to boot. Unreal...lol.

OP, try the Energy Suspension poly isolators..that ought to get you close to where you want to be...or even find a pair of SN95 rear springs and see how those work, both without and with the isolators...
