Title: '83 T-bird 5.0L AOD TV cable

The plastic grommet on the throttle end of my TV cable disintegrated and the cable (actually a solid rod on the '83) came off. Does anyone know where to get a replacement, or even a replacement TV cable if I have to go that route? The hole is oval shaped so I can't just throw any old round grommet in there.

Last time I had that issue, a local transmission shop had those bushings in stock. I think they were like $3.

Yep, CFI's had the solid rod linkage.

seems like I saw these in the help section at Napa....
last ones i got were at the dealer,,,very inexpensive
