pretty sure its 2 15mm bolts holding the rack on, note theirs 2 nuts also that you gotta  use an extention for  behind the control arms. pluss theirs some hoses and lines for power steering fluid, and the outer tie rod ends need to be un bolted from the spindle, make sure you remove the cotter pins from the castle nuts. and last but not least the steering shaft.

Check out post General Car work and things (http://www.foxtbirdcougarforums.com/showthread.php?t=2984) almost half way down the page.
May be of some help.

and.............please dont forget to locate and loosen the allen set screws on the inner tie rod end knuckle........IMPORTANT.  this is a good time to adjust your inner tierod ends.  If you have the plastic disc type that i mention in the previous link,, then they are not stock.

Thanks for the info guys.  We finally got it out.  I just picked up a remanufactured one from autozone.  Hopefully we'll get it back together this week.  My car has about 286,000 miles on it, and it's still kicking pretty good.  Not to mention we have worked on just about every part of the car though.  Thanks again,

Eric
