I have two sets of Moser hardended axles for a Turbo Coupe, one 28 spline and one 31 spline, both have studs. The 28 spline has 3" studs, the 31 spline has standard studs. These are c-clip 4 lug axles and are the correct length for '87-'88 Turbo Coupe & '93 Cobra rear disc brakes.
$165 shipped to the lower 48.
I puchased both sets new and they've been replaced over time as upgrades have taken place.
The 28 spline axles have been sold and shipped!
I'm guessing the 31 spline axles wouldn't work in an 88 8.8 XR7 rear with 10" drum brakes? The 88 XR7 rear is the same width as the 85.5-88 7.5" rear.
The way I read the spreadsheet Jeremy B. put together on axle lengths, both are 29.91 from to the end of the axle. Based on this information, these axles will work, Assuming the differential has been upgraded to 31 spline.

Hmm I'll have to double check. I thought the axles on the later Thunderbirds/Cougars were about .5 inch longer. Maybe I'm wrong.
My buddy is very interested in the 31's
