Post by: slowbird on October 16, 2013, 03:18:47 PM
Went to the track last night, took my friend he brought his 70 chevelle big block car/muncie stick car. he put a cheap auto zone clutch in the car an this is what happened first pass. second pass the trans ended up exploding breaking the tranny in half :punchballs: luckily he had a scatter shield.

Ouch! I wonder if he got hurt. I would have ped myself and had a heart attack. It looked like there was no tranny tunnel though... Poor sucker had a front-row seat to that show.

Ya he got lucky it didn't come through the floor. Idk how it didn't. It also hurt the rear when it let go. Thankfully it didn't lock up goin through the traps at 115 mph
