Title: Base 85-88 Cluster Systems Sentry question
Post by: White85GS on October 11, 2013, 08:17:55 PM
Am I correct in assuming that you'd either have all 6 lights or none at all?

Sorry. I'm asking about the low gas, low oil, low washer fluid, door open, low beam out & tail light out bulbs, that are integrated into the base cluster, would you have just a few of them or was it a "you either have all 6, or you don't have any at all" thing ?

I think it is all or nothing if the car has the feature. But they are not all interconnected.
Which lights are not working?

None light up so I'm pretty sure I don't have this option. Honestly, all I really want is a Low Fuel light.

If you don't have the feature, you will have to:
Get a "low fuel warning module" plus the connector and cable that go to it.
Connect three wires to the instrument cluster connectors and ground the black one.
Splice into two wires to the instrument cluster.

Correction, the low fuel module (switch) is under the right side of the dash.

Lamp out module is connected only to Lamp out indicators, so if you disconnect it, the other indicators will be still working.
