Need help on 88 tc I took yalls suggestions and did a complete tuneup using motor craft parts I have replaced ATC sensor and swapped tps of my parts car and my tc still shutters and cuts out when it starts building boost any ideas
Did you figure it out in the last week or is it still running badly in boost?
HOw about the ignition control module
Sounds a bit like a problem I had
My tc would start breaking up at high rpm when boosting
It turned out to be a boost leak at the intake manifold
New gasket with some copper spray fixed it up and it revs perfect now
I would check any other areas between the turbo and head if in fact the problem is only when your boosting
