Title: pulling codes and odd initial sequence
Post by: jcassity on September 23, 2013, 12:28:21 PM
88 tbird sport
5.0 ho conversion with an 86 speed density HO MKvII computer & explorer parts.

pulled codes
using the check engine light
initial blinks are :

on.....
pause 3 sec
on....
pause 3 sec
on....
pause **about 8 sec
on
pause 3 sec

then codes dump which are 53, 63 and 31

I know not too long ago my son had a defective green wire connection to the TPS and i repaired that.
I am wondering if the 53 and 63 codes will go away.

with TB at rest, i have .86vdc and at wot, i have about 4.6vdc

anyway, the question i have is ,,, Whats up with all the single initial pulses?

I am use to codes dumping out in two groups,,
the instantanious codes and then followed by the memory codes.

i did not get two groups of codes , just one group.
