How do u adjust tps on 88 tc

you don't.

if it doesn't fall within .5-1.2 volts at idle and hit 2.5v above base reading, it is bad.

use a round chainsaw file.
make the mounting holes oblong.

the original early TPS's and i think to this day the Turbo Coupe throttle position sensors are eliptical,, this was / is for adjustment.

aftermarket units rarely have this feature.  I believe the mid 80's ford escorts still show up with this feature.

anyway, when i need to go cw or ccw, i make sure to make the mounting holes sorta oval just for this reason so i can dial in approx .8 to .9V on the green wire to the black wire and from the green wire directly to chassis ground.

The TC's have adjustment in the tps like mustangs and others you got to open the holes a little

I just did this on my 88 TC but ended up having to replace it but still had to set the voltage
