these usa made ***VERY LOW MILES*** roller rockers need a home.
I just took them off my HP289 heads and am looking for someone who can use them.
will sell or trade for something....
will ship anywhere
will trade for parts of equal value ect,,, just call me at 304 772 3411, thats the best way to catch me.
need to dig up the brand,, i built a motor for a friend of mine and he purchased these , which in turn i purchased the motor from him fairly cheap.
For some reason Comp comes to mind.,, these were made back in 2004,, been sitting in my possession for the past 7 years doing nothing
Do you need anything in my for sale thread? Lol
i am looking at your FS add now,,
what you did on post 61 was really a great move.
i would personally go into your Post #1, copy and past the data from post 61.
i would continue to edit post 1 as things change or products get added.
you can manage your customers viewing pleasure more accuratly ... i had a tiny bit of trouble consolidating in my mind what was still for sale vs what is for sale vs what is new for sale ect until i stumbled up on post 61.
I do see you have a tiny ford foil sticker that gets placed on he floor board plastic carpet trim along the door.
i do need two of those.
i can always take lamps,, love those you have!!
did you ask me the above question because you need the rockers?
I don't need them but would not mind having them lol
And one of the mods combined all my threads together not me I agree what your saying I think it has hurt my sales
Let me know if you want to trade for anything man
to the top again.. this might help someone
I don't have much still might trade if your interested
These would probably be better than my pro comp's lol
let me know if your going to a bone yard,, if you can snag me something for our latest build, they are yours.

What are you looking for ?
right now at this point my next big ticket item is not located.. thats heads... thats also not an option for you and i , shipping would be a pita $
I do need a transmission cable for an AOD 5.0 along with the adaptor linkage that comes into the side of the transmission housing.
Yea heads would not work out lol
I will keep a close eye for the cable and linkage
Scott, I'll ask around and see if anyone local has GT40s...we'll be back down your way sometime...and it's not like you're very far from sis in law's place LOL.
Do you want P's or the non P heads, in case I can locate either/or?
yeah,, im starting to sweat it.... ive pinged a few people about heads..
i hate getting on ebay dealing with people i dont at least "kinda know".
here its different....
Ive got a lot of goodies coming in over the next week here to get this build going.... guess ill start a thread about it soon.
Well, I'll ask around...my Mustang buddy Steve can probably locate a set, or maybe one of these weekends I'll catch a ride to the junkyard with him and pull a set or two just to have around when someone needs 'em.
When you get a set, don't forget you'll need to upgrade the springs ;)
p heads iron or aluminum
i guess i lucked out, the 96 i got mine from had the egr ports correct to our cars..i think thats "internal egr"
I believe it is...IIRC, the earlier '96 heads will be non P, the previous owner of my Mounty told me it has non P's on it...but it's an October '96 build so I'm not 100% sure, and to be honest, I've never bothered with looking. I've got a leaky manifold gasket, so I suppose in the next couple of days I'll figure it out. I can probably look in the fender well and see if the plus come straight out (P) or if they have an angle (non P), rather than look for the hard to find 3 or 4 bars cast into the corners.
Not that it really matters which heads my Mounty has as I'm by no means tearing it apart LOL, but since the thought came to my mind....I went to look...no P heads on my Mounty. I did some online checking real fast and it seems that the mid-late '97 built Exploder/Mounty would have the P's. Just say '98 up to be safe, if you're set on the P's. Just go with something like BBK 1515's and they'll work on P's and all other SBF without issue, in a Fox car, that is.
Scott I have the TV cable and bracket.
Whatcha in the need for scott? I have a glorious trove of interior parts switches and ect. Just let me know. Im sure i have some stuff just ask and ill double check
Just a FYI: all GT40/GT40P heads have internal EGR passages. I ran GT40Ps with the stock functioning EGR system no problem. The EGR port is the small square between the front two and rear two intake ports. All factory Ford GT40/GT40P heads have internal EGR passages. The GT40/GT40P heads used on the Explorer/Mountaineer don't have Thermactor passages (the holes on the rear of the head). Those have nothing to do with the EGR system. The Thermactor system injects fresh air into the exhaust, either in the heads or just before the catalytic converters depending on which solenoid is open, to warm up the exhaust to light off the catalytic converters. If you have no cats you don't even need to worry about the Thermactor system. The only problem with GT40Ps is header fitment. You'll need either a set from BBK or FRPP to get a decent fit with the GT40P plug angle. I ran (and am still running with Edelbrock heads) the set from FRPP because it's made of stainless steel.
The confusion on GT40/GT40P EGR passages usually comes from the intake manifolds used. From 96-mid 97 the Explorer's with GT40 heads used an internal EGR style manifold while the later Explorers with GT40P heads used a manifold with no internal EGR passages. This causes people to assume that GT40P heads have no internal EGR passage when in fact they do. Crazy thing is
all Explorer/Mountaineer 5.0s use external EGR even though the 96-97 manifolds have internal EGR passages. Go figure. I've included two pictures. I've got a picture of a internal EGR Explorer GT40 intake and the intake where you will note the lack of an internal EGR passage. I also put up a picture of the intake on a GT40P head. Notice how it has the internal EGR port that all factory Ford heads do.
Not that I did a lot of research before I ran GT40P heads or anything. Now this is stuck in my head even though I no longer own a set of GT40Ps :hick:.
