a quick search shows these as "Carroll Shelby Talladegas" from the early 80s. Here's a VW site with these same rims, but the application is older Porshes with 4x108 wheels. I'm not sure the offset on these, either. Shelby's company made wheels for Chrysler and other cars as well.

Interesting wheels. Also found these on an Datsun 260Z (http://www.classiczcars.com/photopost/member-galleries/p24349-2c16-3.html):

I think they would look kinda fugly on a Fox Thunderbird/Cougar.
