I am looking for suggestions and to see what others have done here...
I want to replace the electronic climate control system with a manual rotary type of set up. I am also thinking of ditching the trip computer or whatever they call it on the bottom as it is pretty much a waste of space. I want to make everything look factory and I also will be in need of a bunch of gauges and would like to install them in some of the open space. I could install a new stereo but that is not a concern for me. I just want everything to look very professional and oe if possible.
I would love to see pics here of what you guys have done.
Here is a couple of my dash.
Thanks!
Mark

I've got a manual HVAC plenum with a good heater core and a good evaporator, along with the manual controls. You can convert the manual controls to rotary , but you'll need the manual HVAC plenum as a swap, as the EATC stuff is totally run by actuator motors. You can PM me if you want to make a deal.
if your going to go through all the effort of swapping the heater and ac out, you might as well consider an sn-95 dash swap. it would look oem and open up your gauge options and get your rotary s ;).
Has anyone done that? I'd like to see what it looks like.
There has been a few who have done it, but one has deleted ALL of his posts showing his work  I'm going to be doing the sn-95 dash swap and I'll try to document as much as possible. Here's my new dash :D

I would love to do the sn95 dash too. It is my favorite dash by far. If I did that I would like to replace the passenger side air bag cover where is says Mustang with Thunderbird. I am okay though with the 85 and up dash. I think it is nicer than the 84.85 style imo. I work a lot this time of year and I have my car booked into a shop this fall to get a 8.5 second legal cage installed and I doubt I will have the time to do a proper conversion of the sn95 dash before then. I did manage though to get some nos Ford racing oil, water temp and boost gauges along with a mint svo tach with shift light, all white faced. I do agree though on the dash swap, it looks killer. I will try to do the swap to get rid of the climate control. I have seen where people use the rotary s from a Taurus/sable but I did not know about needing to changeover the other parts to do this.
I will post pics of the gauges once I have them.
The thing is that I am in Canada, it is a hassle to ship to me.
I am interested though but I would want you to ship USPS which means going to a post office to fill out a small customs form.
Thanks though I appreciate the offer.
The dash will look fantastic, you just gotta get rid of the Mustang logo and replace with Thunderbird. I want to do the same thing., Hmm maybe if I just get the dash installed so the shop can install the cage and then I can do the rest when my work is slower in the winter. I really want to do this bad, almost did it in my vert.. Please start a thread on this and I will post up another too.
Good luck, it will be awesome.

I've already removed the airbags and I plan on getting blank filler pieces for the ugly holes :D
