I found these Rota RB wheels and like them. They are very light wheels, which is a bonus. I haven't seen them on our Fox Tbird/Cougar set before. Anyone have experience with them? Backspacing and size (16x7 with +30mm offset) is similar to our TC snowflake wheels (16x7, +32mm offset with 4x108mm lug spacing)

I like them...just not sure about them on a TBird/Cougar.
are they available in different widths? I know these are popular in the tuner crowd
I think widths are limited. 15x7, 16x7 and 17x7.5. The offsets come in +30mm and +40mm for the 15 and 16s and +20mm for the 7.5. I don't know a lot about them except that they are popular with the autox and tuner groups, and fit a lot of Ford of Europe cars (Focus, Fiesta, Cortina) and some of ours, too.
those look like they should be on a beetle, a VW van or an old British sports car/ hatch back.
European ...you mean like these? ;)

I just thought they look different and play into the racing heritage of Fords. The pictures above were my inspiration.
Well, I stand corrected. I am just going to start eating my words now.... BUT

I suppose we are both right good sir.
:)
You are correct, too. I lived in Europe (France) and visited a lot throughout western Europe, and know that the british sports cars had minilites and panasports a lot. They were/are also popular with VWs and small Italians...
I remember the triumphs and MGs well, my Father-in-law had a 73 MGT with those
Maybe I'm talking myself out of these after looking at "Rota + quality" on google... I'll likely not be racing it, but Tbird, Rota = heavy car, cheap wheels = possible fail. I haven't heard anything bad about the RBs but some of the other wheels may be suspect. These aren't Panasports or Minilites. :dunno:

That would defiantly suck
There's a good chance that wheel broke after that car understeered into a curb. Its not like rotas just fall apart.
I know. These are used in drift cars and see a lot of abuse, and maybe not reflective of the overall quality.
Omg rotars just fall apart!
hey those wheels are famous! watching transformers 3 I noticed something. Sams datsun.
