Post by: jcassity on June 30, 2013, 07:52:36 AM
has anyone had the time to see or verify the bell housing pattern on the new 302?
compatability to older aod's?

no one knew a couple years ago and atleast the answers were vague a year ago.

I highly doubt it's the same since it's two completely different engines.

They use the same bell housing pattern as the 4.6. I'd use a newer transmission anyway - they are much stronger from the factory. Nothing wrong with the 4r70w, other than needing a $400 controller.
