Title: Mustang rear control arms
Post by: Dougy_Fresh on June 20, 2013, 11:37:59 PM
How much shorter are the uppers than Thunderbird control arms?

I have a full set of tubular control arms that came off a mustang project that I had, I am considering extending them to fit the Bird. I read that the lowers are ~3/4" shorter, but all I can find on the uppers is "won't work"

I guess if it comes down to it, I could just pull them off, make a jig, then cut and extend to fit the jig

Lowers are 3/8-1/2" shorter.  Uppers are 1-1/8" shorter.
