Ok, so the tranny gods have deemed it necessary to hit me with 2 separate transmission woes.
1st; My bosses Taurus that I've been driving, started shuttering and hard slamming into and out of gear. Last night it decided to puke fluid and started to feel like the front wheels were getting ready to fall off and the trans light on the dash started blinking. Luckily I was close to the body shop and pulled in. It was leaving a trail of fluid (leaving a trail in case it got lost) when I parked it in the shop and ran the scanner, it had 2 codes. Both trans failure  I'll look into more this morning.
2nd; My bosses F-250, which I've been keeping at my place, decided to start making tranny noises like something ishiznitting or rather sing. I went to move it yesterday after I got home from the Taurus fiasco and it started to make that noise in both forward and reverse. :toilet::punchballs::wtf::shoothead
After some inspecting, I found the front pump seal leaking on the Taurus :-( not a fun job. then on the p/u, a filter & fluid change seems to have silenced it.......at least for now.
What year Taurus and F250, 4X4?. Trans problems are never any fun, and usually not cheap. Hope the repairs go well and hold up for you.
Thanks Joe,
The Taurus is a 2001 and the F250 4X4 SD is a 2002. I'm going to trailer the Bull over to the other shop I work at, put it on a lift and do what the repair. Thankfully I didn't drive the Bull home, instead I was passing the body shop on my return trip from my uncle's when the trans light came on and it was still moving good when I pulled into the shop. But boy did it act like an old Harley and leave a trail and marked it's spot when I stopped it inside :punchballs: what a mess to clean up :toilet: lol
