Did 40bob go out of business? I was hoping to buy one of his log headers when I rebuild my 2.3t.
Looks like he is no longer around as his site will not load http://www.40bob.com.
One site showed a company by the name of 40bob in Marshall, Illinois with a phone number of (217) 826-6266. Other than that there is not much.

He had some health problems and literally disappeared for about a year. Im not sure if he's actually gonna get back up and running, but he's started to finish what was still paid for and pending. Most of the story is over on turboford
That sucks....Bob stuff is great...I have been out of the 2.3 stuff for abit.

If he doesn't come back I hope somebody is able to duplicate his header. I fear for the future of aftermarket support for the 2.3t crowd.
Stinger is doing well along with Bo-port for quality engine parts.
I believe the 2.3T is doing better now than every, with the internet and availability of aftermarket engine managment, relativly inexpensive.

Ya 40bob was gone for about a year and someone else stepped up to try to fill the orders from donations, but now that guy is gone and 40bob popped back up. If I was wanting one I'd buy a used one from someone or go with a stinger header. I bought alot of stuff from stinger and don't think I've had any delay's or scary months of no contact.
