Title: 1986 XR7 Turbo floor shifter assembly
Post by: MikeSC on April 15, 2013, 12:46:32 PM
recently replaced the heater core, during that repair somehow the plastic orange shift indicator broke, and we can't figure out how it's supposed to go together. It appears to attach to an orange plastic ring on the shift lever. Does anyone have a parts diagram for this model that might help?

That sucks...I don't have one.

That being said it was only used in the 84-86 turbo auto cars and the few C5 auto with the console option
From 84-86....kinda rare.  But u should be able to find a turbo guy from 84-86 that swapped to a T5.

Nope...only PRND21 on the turbo auto shifter 84-86  The 87-88 use PRNODD21  then the AOD people have PRNODD1  only the turbo 87-88 has all gear selection....like GM cars.
