It's the best one in the series, probably because they got a decent actor this time, *Christain* Bale. I don't really like the whole comic book scene, but this movie is one to see even if you're not into it. I'm just hoping for them to continue with the series given the new director and actors. The last 3 totally sucked and the first wasn't all that great. The latest, however, is a definate must see. 100 billion times better than star wars ep. 3. But then again, 100,000,000,000 x 0=0. Okay, so i'm a little critcal of the star wars flick....
*correction
I've seen it, and I'm not really into the whole batman deal, but man, I have to say, it was a really well made movie all around. I agree with amooset, I liked it better then SW Ep III.
Um, i'm thinking you meant Christian Bale. Scott Baio is the guy who gave me pink eye!!!
Actually there were 4 prior batmans, the first 2 were directed by Tim Burton and I liked, the other 2 were junk.
Batman (1989 Michael Keaton), Batman Returns (1992 Michael Keaton), Batman Forever (1995 Val Kilmer), Batman and Robin (1997 with George Clooney).
Batman Begins has nothing at all to do with any of those 4 I just mentioned. It actually returns to the roots of Batman and follows the storyline of the comics (well, it's close).
Anyway, it's awesome!!!!
And all four were pretty bad. Okay, the first was okay because there hadn't been a batman movie for decades. The last 3 were just horrible, especially the fourth one. What were they thinking putting GEORGE CLOONEY in the lead role? There are a lot of actors I would have put in there before him. Bruce Willis? Brad Pitt? I think I would have even put the original batman in there (Adam West) before George :giggle:
I am pretty critical of action movies, but I do have to say that it was a very entertaining movie. They finally got away from the cartoon and put the "Dark" back into the Dark Knight. My kids were terrified most of the movie! Scarecrow was awesome.
Any good? one of my friends wants to see it tomrrow just want an opinion.
