This is #2, what do you think?
Take all of the bearings (rod and main) to a machine shop and see what they say. If the crank is standard now my bet is it will be at least a 10/10 crank when you get it back with new bearings.
Darren
I will do that, but will that be ok? Learning on the engine building, last one I just let the machine handle and we pick it up and installed.
If the damage is due to oiling issues then definitely get a new oil pump and check the oiling passages on the block for any blockages or debris.
Darren
For sure I am getting new oil pump and water pump, since i am here.
