Title: Cold air intake
Post by: 5.0thunderbird on April 05, 2013, 01:11:19 PM
Does anyone here have a cold air intake for their bird? I was wondering if the bbk mustang ones work or not. And if you do have a cold air intake did you see a power increase?

Our factory air intake is already a CAI (cold air intake). Just remove the air silencer from the inner fender, and add a quality filter. Done. The air is drawn from the inner fender as an aftermarket kit would be, but you save tons of money this way.

If you want shiny stuff, A fox Mustang CAI will fit. make sure it's for either a Speed density intake or Mass Air.

both speed density cold air kits for fox bodys fit. i got a mac one from cj pony parts. runs about $140 for a regular one and $150 or $160 for a fender well kit. didnt notice much difference in preformance but adds a nice look to under the hood
