There's an '85 Stang notch in my shop. No rust. Pretty ed good paint.
Glass is all there, the doors are on, as is the deck lid.
Basically a shell..now to figure out WTF I am going to do with it...
Part out the '89 ragtop and throw the driveline into it, most likely.
I know you guys mostly don't like Mustangs, and I'm not getting rid of the Sport, either, but to be honest, my passion right now is firearms. However, the coupe is solid, and has great potential.
The only thing I lack is time. I can't do anything else to the Sport till I get a good dash harness, and I'm in the process of wiring up my shop right now.
I'll get some pics tomorrow of it, but just envision a black Stang coupe with no suspension, missing front clip and interior, and you got it. I've got most of the interior stuff for it, and I'm thinking either turbines, 10 holes, or maybe later on some GT500 wheels.
4 foxes...., place looks like a used car lot around here. Still have one more car to drag home, too. Ughh. :hick:
Just to let you know I have the 87 dash harness I salvaged out of my grey cat. I doubt I'll ever use it, at least I hope I don't have to.
That was a 5.0 car? Dit it have all the options? I could probably use it, if so :)
Fix the Bird.
Bring it back to glory.
That is all. :D
I will, just need a few parts ;)
4 eye notch ftw
Hey a clean, rusty free car from the 80's....score. I like fox mustangs but at 6'6" I really dont fit..
Travis
^Yea, I hear ya there. Even at 6'3, I can just barely fit into my Sunroof equipped Bird, thanks to the inner support structure. The top of my head pretty much rides on the underside of the roof. If I'm wearing a hat with one of those little metal buttons on the top (which they all have), and I hit a bump, it jabs the metal portion of the button into my head everytime, it has actually made me bleed before, lol. I have to adjust the seat just right, and slide down into it a little to fit. Probably gonna have to make custom power seat racks to solve that issue for me.
Shoot us a picture.
