chucks type 1 motor mounts for 2.3 opened box but never installed, sold my car so I have no need for them anymore $150 shipped paypal or local pickup, located in sodus ny 14551

I'm not familiar with chuck's stuff, would these fit an '85 TC? Is there a "type 2" that replaced these?

yes these will fit a 85 TC, type 1 refers to the year range they fit, type 1 is 83-85 and type 2 is 86-88, I purchased these less than a year ago.

ok, can you explain the difference? my turbo coupe is an 85.5, just so I can make sure which ones I have on there.

85.5 is a rough one. It *should* be like the 83-85, but a pic of your existing mounts would better serve to make sure you're looking at the right stuff.

i had to get a drivers side mount when I got the car and remember having a hard time getting the right one. I ended up with a kinda round mount that had two bolts going through one side and one stud on the other side. I had to reuse the brakets that bolted to the engine and k frame, which also had like a "captive" flat bar as a kinda of limiter if the rubber fails. I think that was its purpose anyway. If i remember right, the mount i ended up getting was the same or very similiar to a tranny mount for an '87-'88 TC.
