I was wondering what is a good product to clean upper and lower intake. Anyone with pictures before and after? Maybe good tip to prep for painting them also?

If your going to paint it use purple power

If not just spray it with engine degreaser

from what i can tell from my elementry perspective, i have noticed some if not all of the uppers had some form of base clear coating,, if im wrong then im not really sure why i have two with clear coating. the one on my stock 20th is not clear coated though.

I'm with bigbada1, oven cleaner. Just make sure you wear eye protection when you are under the car.
