Motor is a 306 stock rods and crank. 1.6 rr, comp cams blower cam, 42 lb injectors, procomp al heads, typhoon intake and a p1sc probably only going to run 8 to 10 lbs of boost

It should be a riot!  Glad to see another Procharged Bird on the site.

A suggestion (assuming this is your first set up with a Procharger):  Tighen the belt and check the pulley alignment with a straight edge (I used a level).  The A/C brackets are known for their flex, so you may find the head unit pulls in, toward the front of the car.  You can shim the brackets to add "pre-load" so the pulley/head unit are aligned with the crank pulley, when there's tension on the belt.  This should minimize the chance of throwing a belt.

Another tip when mounting it in the car:  It's highly likely you'll need to clearance the inner fender for the head unit.  I placed a rubber mallet on the area affected and whacked that with a 3 lb maul.  That moved it in, without creating ugly dents or damaging the paint.

Great to see you're doing a mock up outside the car.  I found I still needed about 10-15 test fits of the head unit to get everything adjusted and lined up, once it was in the car.  Areas I had issues with were the P/S pump hose (it was right in the way of the discharge tube) and a corner of the sway bar mount (I had to cut it off for clearance on the discharge tube).

Good luck!

I'd love to put a KB 2.1 on my Thunderbird but I've got two things holding me back: hyper pistons and Fel-Pro 1011-2 head gaskets. I purposely did that so I wouldn't be tempted to supercharge the thing.

I do have a forged piston 91 Mark VII here though......Vortech V3 time:hick:?

You're car should be really fun when it's done. I'd put some older tires on to, uh, "test" it :burnout:.
