my cable broke from the column to the orange box that outlines the gear you are in It's a very small diameter cable with crimps at each end. Does anyone have access to either the original part or just a small (1/16" dia) cable?

I'd like to find one, too. I busted mine when I pulled my cluster to do the speedo unlock mod. I've been living with it, but at some point, I'd like it to work again.

Not showing any at Green Sales so this might be it for awhile.
here is what i did to the "coug"
You closely examine how the old cable works.
get your spider wire out and make a new one.
simple as that. the spring on the end up at the instrument cluster will pull up the slack and would work idential to oem.
the oem cable is sorta like thread anyway.
Spider wire is pretty common around peoples homes or even heavy duty upholstry thread would work.
I plan on fixing mine with a 5speed. Might be the more expensive route though.
and if the plastic retainer that goes aroudn the sterring column breaks, use a zip tie to hold it in place.
I used fishing line to fix mine, but at $35.00 I might just get the whole set up.
I am with you STACKS . The 5 SPEEDER ALL THE WAY. NO STRINGS ATTACHED!!!!!!!

I've got one too, still attached to a cluster though.
