Title: Erson Cam
Post by: smithgs13 on December 24, 2012, 01:00:41 PM
Yesterday when my dad and I took apart my new 302, we found we had a high performance sig erson cam and could not id it. We looked at their site and they don't use the same style id that they used to do. Can anyone help me id this cam.

If I was a betting man,  I'd say that is a cam w/  221* @ .050 duration and .288" lift(times a 1.6 rocker ratio for .460 total lift)  on the intake side,  and 224* duration and .290" lift(again, multiply 1.6 rr) for .464" lift on exhaust side.  the "H" probably denotes a hydraulic cam and 15690 is the part # in my best guess.  your results may vary..

I'd say that it's like 221*/224*duration @ .050 lift; 288*/290* Advertised duration and part #15690

Here is the company that bought Erson a couple years back:

They will be your best bet figuring this one out.  Is the number in the bottom left of the cam end "108"?  Might want to get a better picture so that stands out a bit better.
