My 84 Cougar started the exact same way, except for the leather/sport seat option.
Desert sand is a rare colour.

I had an 84TC that color (Desert Sand Metallic)...sold it to a member here.  It's primer black now.

(It did need paint, but that color POPS when it's cleaned up)

There's an Elan with the same color for sale bear me. Guy wants 4k and only has 3 pictures of the car, I don't get people like that.
