Never seen a car with zero options on the console panel til this car. All have had either power windows, or power mirrors at the minimum. Has to be pretty rare, not neccessarily desirable, but unusual for sure.

I saw an 87 T-bird like that in a salvage yard. No options and a blank consolette panel. It was kind of odd.
i want the horn pad :(
Black or woodgrain finish?
Either is fine lol
although if its woodgrain, i'd want it to match the dash.
I am pretty sure either of these will fit. They are 80-82 part # but i am certain they carried over the wheel insert to 83. Good Luck! Also, look at the red leather wrapped steering wheel, just pop in the thunderbird insert and you are good to go. Its a mint wheel for a red interior car. ( yours is if i remember)

I'm amazed at the prices..... NOS or not, $79??
I hate to see the prices up high, but, Ido have to say. By every passing day, parts for our cars are getting harder and harder to find. If I had the cash, I'd buy most all of the NOS parts and store them. In two years, they will be needed.
I love the 83/84 interior layout
i really dont care for my LS or 20th interior layout
this works best for a bird in that the dash with the center console is shaped lit a big ass T.
once upon a time i had a fantasy of grafting a center console all the way down the middle having a second center console at the back seat area identical to the front seat area. i still think that would look really sharp.
I always preferred the 83/84 layout as well, i think the shape is very nicely done and symmetrical. I also would love it we had a tach and proper gauges, but you can't have everything i suppose. This really was a transition car in so many ways, both from a design and tech perspective. On one hand there is on board computers, EFI, digital dash/clock/radio.....and yet we have a manual prop rod, manual vent windows etc.....
I also have the zero option console. The one thing I wish this car had,is power windows.
I would kill for manual everything. That's how my first 86gs was. Didn't even have a passenger mirrior. I think thunderchicken had the same setup in a 85 that was sgae or teal green.
