Bump for a very nice ride.
I say 5.0 swap it.
There are plenty of other candidates out there that I could agree with you on your suggestion; but I firmly believe this car should
NOT be one of them.
^^^Agreed, that needs to be left alone and cared for so that everything looks EXACTLY like that in 30 years lol
+1 for Survivor status.....these are getting very rare in original unmolested condition. Very beautiful Cat.........
Just figured I'd smack the bee's nest. LOL
Guess I should add that when I first got the car it had just a pinch over 10,000 miles on it. When I got it, I did a full motorcraft tune up (plugs, wires, cap and rotor). Also, it had a slow start condition, so I dropped the tank and put a walbro 255lph pump in it. The original fuel tank was rusty, so I replaced the tank also.
The original ler/tailpipe had some holes in it, so I replaced the mid pipe, ler and tailpipe.
Oh, and mcb82gt is my brother and he can vouch for how nice this car is.
Indeed, it is an extremely nice car. Anyone should be proud to own it.
Sweet ride...looks like a Febuary 1985 or later build.

I think this is the same car I owned from 2006-2009. It's a real treat, even smelt like a new car when I had it.
Spring time bump. Lowering the selling price to $4,900.
Great looking car and nice low mileage example. Great price too! I can't imagine someone won't buy it as the weather turns warmer. What a nice turn-key cruiser/car show ride.
Good luck!
Clean!!!!!
It's amazing how some cars are kept so clean
TTT for a very clean car.
I love your car!!!
I am betting though the price is just not comprehendable to anyone but us.
4900.00 is a great price but putting it into perspective, there are not many examples of this car out there, however, there arent many people out there who really care about that either.
as said on another thread, this price will keep the folks wanting just a beater away.
Don't be discouraged, I think the price is more than fair. If I didn't already have a low-miles XR-7, I'd be all over this car.
you can not create or restore a Fox car to this level for that price....its more than fair. Just need the right buyer who appreciates these cars
Thanks for the kind words guys. Yeah, I think the price is fair, but as stated its a small group of guys looking for these cars and appreciating them for what they are. I guess it will take awhile to find the right buyer.
Its is a limited market for a car like that....it is nice to see...being an XR7 guy...With the lack of fading on the bottom color, I can tell you that. Garaged her entire life.

-must resist. the force is strong with this one.......
It would make a nice addition to your other two originals....
maybe the '87, but the '86, original as she is, turned 232k the other week and promptly blew a head gskt. :( now i must decide what to do.....
Awesome car man. No way in the world would I ever swap that engine out for a 5.0.
Very nice car. Definately has to stay "original".
Replace the $10 headgasket and go another 232k.... :)

price drop to $4,500. If anyone is seriously interested, pm an offer. I am wanting this car gone asap.
