(http://s1290.photobucket.com/albums/b534/TDuncan61/)First of all let me say how glad I was to stumble on this site. For the longest time I thought I was pretty much alone on the 80 TC,s. You dont see many and you dont hear of many being restored.

A little History. In 86 I bought my TC new. It was the first real new car I had purchased. Had it undercoated pretty much babied it.It was an every day driver for me for years. As the family grew it became a little to small and was pretty much replaced. I had thought several times over the years to get rid of it but sentimental value and family history made me keep it. Hell I brought my fist kid home from the hospital in the thing when she was born. That child is now 26  and the old TC  has sat in the garage for the last 15 years under cover next to its older relative a 64 T-Bird I restored.

There is nothing I would like to see more than it to be restored to its former glory. But my biggest fear is finding after market parts.

And the fact that after 26 years finding tech info may be a night mare

But after reading the posts of some of you that have restored your TC,s it gives me hope that she can be saved from the wrecking yard.

I will post pics as I tear into it, Thanks again for posting your restorations on here.

Tim

Alright pic time. Here she is in all her faded glory. I got pumped after reading some of the restro threads and started some of the tear down. And forgot to take before pics. Shes pretty solid, surface rust mainly on the bottom door skin and rear quarters. Other than that shes fairly solid. I will see what damage is under the Zeibart when I get a blaster next week.
