Title: What cam to use with MAF EFI
Post by: Fordracer08 on September 01, 2012, 01:15:28 PM
If you were going to use a MAF EFI system on a 289/302 with a flat tappet cam what would be a good choice for a cam? This would be a daily driver that I expect good mileage out of and 5.0 HO type performance. Any suggestions appreciated.

Definitely mild, something that is compatible with the factory tune in the MAF ECM. The car will have a C4 trans with stock converter/stall and stock 2.75 gearing in the rear. I have wondered how a stock (early) 351W cam would work.
