Moved back to MO, got my car running and driving. Source of all my frustration was fuel system was ran wrong (had to move regulator) and the Mallory distributor I got (brand new) had a bad pickup in it. Now she runs great with the exception of hard cornering but I think that is an issue with fuel layout again which I'll fix.
Main reason I moved back was to help my dad out who is starting to fall apart. So hopefully in the coming months I can post some pics of his projects :D. Hopefully we will build a 347 that has been on the shelf for awhile, rebuilt his 302 for his mustang, put together his starter on his motorcycle, put the 460 into his ranchero and do something with the mystery motor mustang in front of the garage.
And maybe see some more progress on my turd.
Tell us about the Ranchero.
I had a 76 GT, 460 and C6, wish I'd never sold it now.
Pics too it lol.
This is the one getting the lovings. Dad had a 72 like this one when he graduated, this one is a gt500 with a 429 in it. The 460 we got was out of a race boat and we don't know much about it other than it was built by harmon marine.

This is the other ranchero, Its a 68 with a 289 in it. Its for sale, some reason Dad doesn't like it. its pretty rust free.

And no we didn't paint the first one monochrome, the guy who had it did that to protect the chrome I guess.
Where's the rust in the 68? What's he asking? It's shagy!
No, I need no protection.
i like the top ranchero better
The 68 doesn't really have any rust on it, thats the reason we picked it up. I think it might have a couple small spots in the floor board but the rest of it is solid.
Sorry for the delay in responding been running around like chicken with no head.
Don't qoute me on the price but I think he wanted 1500, it runs and drives
Agreed that the 72 is shagy, only downer is it is SO HEAVY. and the 8 mpg lol.
