Ok, I have ugraded my front end on my '88 'Bird, and used a-arms from an '88 Mustang, front spindles from '88 'Stang, frt rotors from '88 Mark7, frt calipers from '88 Mark7. I have no rubber lines in the front. Do I need Mustang lines, because the Mark lines dont go into my fittings on my hard lines. Now, option2. My friend has a wrecked '96-'98 stang. I am thinking about c00ching the whole rear axle off of that, and putting my vented Mark7 rotors and caliperson the rear. I am also thinking about putting the SN95 setup on the front of my '88 'Bird. What else so I need for the SN95 ?

i'd just take the entire front and rear seatup off the 98, as in everything rotors, calipers, hubs ect. then later on down the line you can put cobra brakes on like im doing now.
would i need the a-arms? I have '88 stang k member and a-arms under there now, and I really done feel like messing with those spings again, they are a pain in the ass!! ONe thing I noticed though, with the stang k member, my engine sits higher now. What's that all about?
yeah the 94-98 stangs have the same width rear and everything. I think you would be pretty much set minus brake cables. Also the 87-88 thunderbird or cougar widths are the same as the 94-98 ones the 83-86 tbird and cougars are the same as the 79-93
Hmmmm......so I should c00ch the stangs a-arms while I am at it to correct things up front right? Because I used the '88 stang a-arms that came on the k member. What are you saying about the cables? I also am thinking about using the Mark7 rear brakes, is that possible on the '98 stang rear end?
leave the stang control arms up front if you plan on lowering it, because the tires will sit flush with the fender, and limit suspension travel
just take everything for brakes from the stang, spindles, hubs, rotors, calipers etc, and stick that up front, and use the entire rear from the stang
the Mark VII rotors wont fit the stang rear, but they arnt really needed, since the bird/coug is lighter than the lincoln, and the fronts still do most of the braking
yeah then you can sell them to me!
Why wont the Mark rotors fit? They would fit if I grabbed the caliper hangers off of the axle wouldnt they? I do plan to lower it with whatever the Eibach springs for the car put it at, so I will leave the 'stang front a-arms. Thanks for the advice on that.

the MarkVIII rotors i believe to have a different center diameter, and i think they have a different offset
honestly, your best bet is to use the stang rear brakes, because the aftermarket for them is great, you can get crossdrilled/slotted rotors for cheap if you wanted, you can get cobra brakes, and all kinds of stuff of that nature, where its hard enough finding replacement calipers for the Mark
Good point, I forgot about all that .
