Title: front turn signal bulb wiring
Post by: beast50 on August 07, 2012, 09:39:29 PM
I am needing help identifying which bulb sockets go to which lamp on the front of my 88 XR-7.  I have the harness pretty much figured out but I am stuck on which ones goes to the inside and corner amber parking/turn signal and which one goes to the clear fender mount side marker.  I took the bulbs out to handle the harness while doing my 3g swap.

Thank you,
Tim

I believe the inner marker lights are a wedge based bulb, while the side markers are a twist socket, or maybe a small 194.

So the inner is the wedge based bulb?

Yes, I believe so.  On my car, only the outers flash, try firing up a turn signal.

I dont have the wiring finished yet, no alternator or battery yet.  could you shoot me a picture from underhood of what the socket looks like for the inner? Does it have the + looking grip to twist the socket for bulb change? For some reason i thought the narrow body was for the side marker.  Thanks! Tim
