Noticed it yesterday, sent a deposit today. Will be picking it up in a week or two, gonna be a longer trip than the last one, will take some planning.
Excited excited!
...where do you find these!?? lol
PS, don't go moose hunting with this one :P
I was gonna say the same thing on both counts, lol
Man those seats look so soft, compared to these plywood boards they call seats in new cars these days.
Is that an 8-Track?
You betcha! :tg: With premium sound too! Gonna have to hit some garage sales lol
I dont think I will take this one outside in the dark, and having it appraised immediately.
Congrats...
Wow...That is brown fox/box tbird!
Its funny back in the day my friend had a totally basic 81 Tbird, 200 straight six and all. no ac!
Travis
thats a nice car! You going to keep/run the Metric wheels on there now?
Well, it's certainly brown. :hick:
Looks nice and clean. Grats.
Funny thing, premium sound but just an am/fm radio, guy said they ordered it that way, no power antenna, has a plastic plug in the switch hole. No keyless entry either, but it does have the tu-tone paint and rocker moulings added on. It is about as nice as the last one, couple things worse, couple things better but fairly even. Drives nice, lots of pep fun to run around in l, A/C works good! probably gonna spend a couple days down here on the island. Thinking of hitting the autowreckers :D
Driving a thunderbird just feels so 'right' you know what I mean?

Gorgeous! Are those the metric wheels/tires too? They do look rather well with that car..
What an appropriate place to stop at. When I was a little kid we were on vacation and I made my parents stop at a Thunderbird Motel, somewhere in the midwest, absolutly horrid hotel but it said thunderbird and that worked for me. Hope your stay was a bit better.
How do you find these in that nice of shape.....I need to move to Canada....
The metric tires are as new as you can get without having a sticker on the tread, worth what I paid for the car... you can see on the sidewall the powdery residue that came out of them after a day of driving. The 78 year old owner said it has never seen snow or spent a night out of it's garage. I'm sure thats a bit of an exaggeration but I would eat steak off the floorboards they are so clean!
My gf's grandma wanted to take us out for breakfast, the diner was at the Thunderbird Motor Inn down the street, she didnt even notice till I pointed it out lol
Just for curiosities sake, this car has a steel front bumper. Which isnt rusty :p

In Slovenia, very cool! is it a landau or a heritage?
Town Landau.
Well I got around to polishing and waxing the bird today, really made that metallic paint 'pop' the colour change is unreal.

Put in new plugs, cap, rotor, and replaced the original 1980 wires too, huge difference, runs so smoooooth.
, that is some good paint for being 30-some years old....it IS original paint, right?
