Is that a Cougar SE or a repaint & restripe made to look like an SE?

It might be an SE, it does have a luggage rack too. My guess though is it's more likely just an aftermarket stripe kit that was put on it. Stripe kits and racks like that were fairly common at the time.

Hard to tell for sure with the lighting/angle of the picture.  Definitely something to ask if one were interested in it.

n: The driver's gear shifter on an automatic transmission. The name comes from pr0nouncing the positions of the shifter as read on the shifter display: PRNDL, park, reverse, neutral, drive, and low (gear).


Hopefully the gear selection is fine but the little indicator cable needs fixing or adjusting.

 Wow , I and all my buddies have called that a "prindel" for as long as I can remember... I thought that was a universal "car guy" term
