I know how much alot of the people here hate the red interior in our cars, I'm looking for the screw covers for the door pulls with the chrome trim, I think its an 88 only item I will take them in another color if they are available. thanks

No, those are the one piece covers that snap onto the door pull. The ones I need have a chrome plastic base that the cover snaps onto.

Swap to Base style panels. No more worries for those shiznitty, hard to find door panel parts, lol

I only have 2 red ones and they are somewhat faded and are different in that they have a groove down the middle. Not sure if they will attach to your base?
Since these items are pretty hard to find you may have to consider finding any color and painting them.
What car did the smooth ones come out of?
This seems to be one style used on some cars from 85 to 88 and I think it's the one with the chrome ridge on the ends.

They should just pop off if you pry slightly at the base with a small screwdriver or putty knife. I have seem some plastic parts so brittle from the sun/heat that there is no way will come off in one piece!

The ones I ever had I sent to cougarman as part of a door panel trade...I will try to get to the yards before long, and if I do, I'll remember to look for any Birds/Cats with the upper level panels for ya :)

First of all 88turbo you posted that you were looking for covers. Not like I had them out there for sale.
Second I stated a price-you didnt want them-I said no problem. That should have been the end of it.

As far as prices on parts, anyone can ask anything they want. Best to just say 'thanks' and move on.
Speaking of prices for parts, who is to say what is fair? Most folks on ebay seem to think (or know) how hard some parts are to find. $80 emblem, $135 console lid, $50 ashtray, etc etc., which is why I highly suggest anyone with access to a junkyard and these cars to get pulling what you can! :cool:

I reprayed them alittle bit darker, when I installed them they were really red lol
