Title: FS: (2)Tripminder/clock/the "deluxe" one
Post by: srv1 on June 05, 2005, 08:20:01 PM
I have two of them, one from an 89 Crown vic with partial harness and one off 85TC with the harness. Make me offers please. I know how much they go for but I'am not looking to make a killing just some extra cash.

Thanks, James

The ones with the MPG and other stuff. The "rare" ones.

80 bucks including shipping to 21157 for the one from the 85TC with harness if it works.

If I read the threads correct it will plug-n-play into my 88 V6 right? I will check it out this week to make sure both of them work.

yes, as long as you have that short harness that goes from the connector by the glovebox to the tripminder

im actually going to make another one here shortly

try and give me a price for the one with no harness if you can, i hate geustimating what you want.

Also, I need to know if its possible to connect with no harness, as i have never looked at the connections (i can solder the wires in seperately as long as i know what goes to what)

youre going to need the harness, because the tripminder uses a specific connector

if you need the harness, let me know, i just got another tripminder to convert to the tbird/coug specs, and i have to make another harness, and i have the supplies to make one more harness, so if you need it, let me know, ill give ya a price, and make it and test it in my car

The 85 Tbird has the harness and the 89 C.V. has part of the harness:

The Crown Vic on I will take $70 shipped.

Will the CV work if I use the 85 harness and put it in my 87? I want to make sure so I don't ruin them.

yes, the CV one will work with the 85 harness, the wiring layout is the same on that connector
