Title: Hit a snag...time for a swap.
Post by: Beau on April 13, 2012, 12:12:35 PM
So I have THESE (http://"http://www.energysuspensionparts.com/proddetail.asp?prod=4.7114") but they won't work with the Tbird strut mount, up on top.

Anybody swapped in an SN95 strut mount? I do know they're 4 holes in a square pattern, just wondering if the 2 holes nearest the firewall were the same, dimensionally between the 2 different cars.

And the Tbird upper can't be made to accept the ES parts.

I'll see if I can snag up a set of SN95 strut mounts tomorrow....

If you can swing it, MOOG and TRW make strut mounts for the Fox TBirds that will use those bushings.  You can get them at most parts houses.

SN-95 stuff won't work.  You can make '89 and earlier Fox Mustang mounts work, but they require elongating the front hole rearward on the strut tower.
